New Family Member!

My SIL had a baby over the weekend! Her name is Nora, and she is adorable! We've only seen pics, but can't wait to MEET her!

This week, we had a snow day Monday. Tuesday hubby got to stay home, but I had school. Today (Wed.) we both went in in the snow - yuck. Tonight it is supposed to snow but stop at midnight, so we'll prob. have school. Good, because my poetry club meets on Thursdays, and last week we had the biggest turnout EVER! :-) But I HATE snow.

It's Snowing!

First of all, I HATE snow. :-( As a disabled person, the snow really "cramps my style". But that said, it is Saturday, so I don't have to go out in it, and I love watching it! And here in Boston, it is supposed to be quite a doozy of a storm. I wish it would cancel school Monday (I'm a teacher), but its fun to watch nonetheless.

Hope everyone is well, and warm. ;-)

Love the Sims!

So I got Sims 2 for Christmas, and my stitching is suffering for it!

I'm still figuring out how to do this "blog" thing....and *why* - in other words, how to make it interesting. I just found out in an email from Catie Curtis (http://www.catiecurtis.com) that her pug Sam ate her daughters ENTIRE diaper! Poor puppy....but he's okay now. :-)

{{Sigh}} I still don't know what to make of this "blog thang". I guess I'll put it in writing that my biggest wish for 2005 is to get pregnant. I'll never have a pug (hubby doesn't like dogs), but I really want a kid. ;-)

Had a poetry club meeting today. My kids are soooo great! I am truly blessed. I call leading poetry club at my school "the gift I give myself" and its so true. We usually meet Thursdays, but last thursday was a snow day, and tomm. is a half day. So the KIDS asked if we could meet another day! I was so jazzed they wanted to meet so much, so what could I say but YES!? ;-)
We go off-topic a lot, but I don't think anybody minds....its all about life, ya know?

All for now,

Amy

Happy New Year!

Happy 2005! I thought since I no longer seem to have time to update my webpage, that I'd join the world of blogging! I'm brand new to this, so it'll probably be pretty boring 'til I get the hang of it.

Here's hoping all your New Year's dreams come true!
